Wow! It's been a minute...

I'm so sorry it has been so long since my last post. I will try and make this somewhat brief. I won't inundate you with pictures and I will try and summarize the last 7 months :). First of all... thanks for your faithful support absent of my faithful communication. Let me assure you that God is doing great things and using your support to further his kingdom tremendously.

March, the summary and the highlight!

I love the MK camping trip! Claire and Creed went on their last camping trip with FORT and it was awesome. Faith shared a great message one of the nights and we made some great memories.

Bella and Serenity got to enjoy a campout with American Heritage Girls and Diane joined them. Then lots of track and field and soccer games and great weather. Also Creed got glasses!

April...

Track came to a close, a good friend from Switzerland came to visit, Creed went to prom, we celebrated Easter and FORT had a Seder service. Also FORT guys night and arm wrestling! And we did a fundraiser where we watched "The Sound of Music." April was very full and busy and we enjoyed some great weather! Creed turned 18! and Serenity turned 9!

May...

Creed graduated! Woah! I got to be the speaker at the FORT senior graduation. We finished up FORT for the school year and got ready to welcome the summer. It feels so weird having a high school graduate! Asher started playing club b-ball! Awards galore for all the kids. I helped my mom get a new car. Liam got confirmed and Asher and Bella had birthdays!

June...
Mission trips and Discovery and all things summer! We welcomed the new FORT members and had a great mission week with them. I enjoyed teaching at Discovery again and seeing lots of MKs from all over the world. It was great celebrating Creed and Claire at Graduation parties and taking Creed out to Texas de Brazil to celebrate his graduating. Our summer FORT program kicked off with guest speakers sharing about community and Thursdays at the park. We love to swim in the summer and Sean made a 9 Square game for us to play with in the pool. It was an instant hit. Asher and the girls got their ears pierced. We had our very first FORT sleepover at PBT and it was so fun. A great month, very full and very rich!

July...
It was great getting to serve a group I've now been serving for 18 years. It was an honor to have my family participate and Creed was on my leadership team. I was so thankful that Nadia could join us, we have been working together for a long time and it was great having her help yet again. I loved teaching and fellowshipping and playing and adventuring. Diane will share the senior charge here. Due to security reasons I can't share many pictures. I will just say that I can understand why the families make such an effort to get their kids there. I loved watching my own kids thrive in the context of this conference. They made great and fast friends. Canada is beautiful and the weather is amazing and it was a cool place to celebrate 22 years of marriage to the amazing Diane. The bonus at the end was getting to visit with my dear old friends Nathan and Stefan Thormoset. It was great seeing their dad and seeing Leah and all the kids. I really felt blessed. Andreas was their brother who is a big part of my testimony and it was so sweet to reminisce with them the last night we were there. July saw us with that grand adventure and then settling back into routine in Duncanville. It was our families first time all together in a different country and it was so generous of the group to pay for my family to be there.

After we got back from Canada, FORT had a service project working on the trails behind the SIL center and then we had an epic guys night. July was packed and full of new experiences.

August...
It feels like August blew by. School started again for everyone on the 4th and FORT went back to the normal schedule. We said goodbye to the seniors bit by bit and now they are off on the next phase of their journey. Skate night was a sad farewell. Creed has now made it through the whole program. We had our August meetings with PBT and then ended the month heading off to Sabine Creek for camp with the FORT group. We are well into our Fall program now. Camp was alot of fun! Pete did a great job as our speaker and Stephen as our worship leader.

Thanks for hanging in there with me through this long recap and summary. You have been faithful and true with your prayers and financial support. Thanks for being true friends and ministry partners. I look forward to sharing the next adventure with you, hopefully sooner rather than later. This year at FORT my focus is on Self-Control! We will be learning about that fruit of the Spirit and exploring the joy of delighting in the Lord so that our "Yes" to Him becomes our "No" to the world!

Love you all and words cannot express how grateful I am for you!

Blessings,

Caleb
