September I love you!

Even though you are almost over! What a great month! I have been involved in zoom camp and youth group for the E.A.G. and MK is back full speed ahead... not to mention FOOTBALL!!!

But one of the rare and new pleasures recently has been an unusual and wonderful connection with Pioneer Bible Translators chapel! I got to play the Cajon for the annual strategic meetings and then was invited to play on a more regular basis for chapel. I also got to speak at chapel and I am so happy that I can share that message with you! It will help you understand much of my COVID journey.

We usually take a group photo at our Labor day camp, but this year we are taking one from the comfort of zoom! I love the creativity the group brings and how we are able to make this time so special and fun!

It's great to have all my kids back in school and all but these two below are back in person. Creed should head back in a week but Serenity will be with us all year it looks like. To help her enjoy the week, we have scheduled a couple play dates for her. But sometimes she just enjoys some big brother time!

Since MK is still a long ways from meeting in person, although we did just get cleared to meet in small groups (yay God). We are also visiting a different MK from our group every Monday. It is so fun to see the kids in person!

A big theme for MK this year has been discipleship! Here is a picture of the wonderful Matthew teaching the Sunday school class at church. He recently graduated out and is now helping me teach it. He is fantastic and it is so cool watching him thrive in his gifts! I love learning from this guy!

I have started being more involved in college ministry. I call it "MK After High School" and it has been another great example of discipleship. A former student is basically running it with a little input from me and she is doing a fantastic job! I love this stuff... and I get to speak at it this week and I'm excited about that too!

Here is some Sunday and Football fun for you. After the epic Cowboys come back a few weeks ago the group was in high spirits! If you want to, take some time and watch the highlights. Recently I got my Grandparents old Onyx table and set it up in the living room for puzzles (for those few people who want to hang out but don't like football).  :) I'm excited to see it being well used again.

This next month we have some amazing guest speakers coming to share about LGBTQ+. Please be praying that God speaks through them and our group is edified! That God is glorified in his goodness and his love and people are educated and set free! Join me in binding the enemy and welcoming the fullness of the Spirit to give us eyes to see and ears to hear about the goodness and love of God!

Please pray for me to live a life worthy of the Lord, a life above reproach and to grow in wisdom and humility. Pray for Diane to be continually free from panic attacks and to live in the grace of God as she works so hard in her job. Pray for our kids to shine brightly in their schools!

I'm so thankful for you and your partnership in the ministry! God is moving and working and it is so great knowing that I have you all with me! Thanks for the love and prayers and financial support! I feel so encouraged and you help my heart stay soft and you encourage my faith so much!

I love you all and look forward to sharing more soon... next week I'm in a wedding and so I had to trim up the beard and hair a bit :).

I will miss the long hair and braided beard but I look forward to it all growing out again!

Finally I just want to thank my amazing wife for being such an amazing wife, mother, and friend. We just celebrated her 38th birthday! She is incredible, so loving and sacrificial and a gentle presence in my life. She is the best partner I could have ever hoped for and I'm so proud of her! I love you Diane and I look forward to many more incredible years with you! You just keep getting more beautiful every year!

Love you all so much!

Blessings,

Caleb
